Brief:The Delta anchor (triangle anchor) is a high-grip anchor that originated in the 1980s and was developed by a British engineering team. Later, it was promoted by the Dutch Frehov Anchor Company. Due to its simple structure, strong grip and wide adaptability, it has quickly become a commonly used anchor type for commercial ships and offshore engineering vessels worldwide and has obtained the HHP certification from the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).
